NCA Introduction

Nepal Canyoning Association (NCA)  is a government registered  (Rgt. # 816) association as a non-profit organization and common platform for outdoor adventure trip organizers and individual canyoneers with objectives of developing CANYONING in Nepal as an adventure sport and attractive tourism product and  safeguarding the professional and business interests of its members.  It is our pleasure to share with you that within a short span of time, there has been a very good response and keen interest shown from tourism entrepreneurs, agencies, organizations and even from the government officials about CANYONING. There are already more than 44 members associated with Nepal Canyoning Association currently. NCA has already signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ecole Francaise de Descente de Canyons (EFC), France and it is on the process with American Canyoning Association (ACA).

Skilled Manpower Development:

It is our pleasure to inform that the first ever training cum workshop in Nepal was held in January/February 2008 in joint organization of Nepal Canyoning Association (NCA) and  Ecole Francaise de Descente de Canyons (EFC), France with kind support of other tourism organizations like; Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and Trekking Agencies' Association (TAAN).
